Not for its own sake, but because structure is what leads to something bigger than the sum of its parts.
My leadership philosophy is rooted in empathy, clarity, and honesty. I believe in meeting people where they are and adapting my approach to bring out the best in each person on my team, while keeping my core values consistent. That combination of flexibility and conviction is what I think good leadership actually looks like in practice.
I also write original music with my cousin Fiona in a band called Solid Copy. I'm an avid baseball fan, and I spend as much time as I can hiking and seeing concerts.
Technology & Operations
The Problem
Scheduling, data management, and invoicing across thousands of monthly services were handled manually, creating inconsistencies, reporting delays, and no reliable visibility into revenue performance at the executive level.
The Approach
Led the end-to-end deployment of a technology portal, aligning cross-functional stakeholders across operations, finance, and field teams. Oversaw implementation, change management, and staff training while maintaining service continuity across multiple departments and regulatory frameworks.
The Result
Manual tracking systems were fully replaced. The organization gained structured executive-level revenue forecasting and fiscal projections for the first time, directly supporting the budget growth from $8M to $25M+ during the same period.
Government Contracts & Compliance
The Problem
Following the pandemic, New York City and State launched large-scale learning loss recovery initiatives backed by federal funding. Executing on these contracts required navigating layered compliance requirements across multiple government agencies while maintaining program quality and client relationships.
The Approach
Served as the primary liaison to both the NYC and State Departments of Education, overseeing contract submissions, fund utilization reporting, and compliance documentation. Led cross-functional problem-solving to align internal operations with complex federal, state, and local requirements simultaneously.
The Result
Successfully managed over $100M in COVID learning loss recovery fund utilization across both agencies, exceeding client expectations while maintaining full compliance and advancing student achievement outcomes.
